Q. Is it a standard straw bottle?
A. It is not a standard straw bottle. It is a true sippy cup with a “straw-like” spout.
Q. Is it leak proof?
A. The Safe Sippy is not completely leak proof. That is to say, if you turn it upside down and shake it, water will drip out. But it has a no-spill valve inside the cap, so if the cup is knocked over by a child, water is not going to come pouring out. You may get a drop or two; if you didn’t, a child wouldn’t be able to get liquid out either.
Q. Is the spout hard or soft?
A. The spout is hard. That is because of the plastic we use – polypropylene. PP is harder than plastics that contain things like Bisphenol A.
